The Snowbirds were thrilled to participate in another successful Canadian Forces (CF) Day at Canadian Forces Base Borden, near Barrie Ontario.

Many Snowbirds alumni and honoraries made the trip to Borden to enjoy the show. The CF Day displayed many participants from the Army, Navy and Air Force and the show featured a rare treat with a display by the RCMP Musical Ride.

The Snowbirds were honoured to grant a tour of the aircraft on arrival to patients from the Royal Victoria Hospital and to host Assistant Commissioner Mike McDonnell, Commanding Officer of "O" Division of the RCMP, for a show briefing. The CF Day was a resounding success despite some storm systems that moved in on Sunday, causing the team to have to abbreviate the show about half way through.

The team would like to thank Ms. Deb Welna, the team's point of contact for her hard work and support in hosting the Snowbirds. Many thanks as well to 400 Tactical Helicopter Squadron and to the Lake Simcoe regional airport for their tremendous support and assistance.
