Mark Saturno Appointed President of the Esterline Simulation Visual Systems Business Unit

(Montreal, Canada – November 28, 2017). Michel Potvin, President, Esterline Avionics Systems, is pleased to announce the promotion of Mark Saturno to the position of President of the Esterline Simulation Visual

Systems business unit, effective October 31, 2017.

Mr. Saturno joined Esterline through the acquisition of the aerospace and defense display businesses of Barco N.V. in February 2015. He served as the Vice President for Worldwide Sales, Simulation Visual Systems at Barco and remained in that position after the acquisition.

Prior to joining Barco in 2012, Mr. Saturno worked at Cubic Defense Applications for nine years where he held the positions of Senior Director, Business Operations and Senior Director, Business Development. Previously, Mr. Saturno worked for Science Applications International Corporation (Saudi SAI) as a Director of Business Development, Contract Management, Logistics and Personnel. He has also worked as a Management Consultant with KPMG Consulting. Mark started his career with the United States Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), where he held the rank of Captain and served as a Navigator / Electronic Warfare Officer on board an MC-130E aircraft.

Mr. Saturno holds an MBA from the University of West Florida and a BS in Finance from the University of South Carolina. He also attended several advanced leadership programs at the University of Washington, Santa Clara University, and San Diego State University.

In his new role, Mr. Saturno will continue to be based at the Esterline operation in Xenia, Ohio, and will be the executive accountable for the entire simulation business, which includes the sites in Kortrijk, Belgium, and Xenia, Ohio.
