This is a thread to list books based on aviation whether fiction or non.

I'm currently reading, "His Edge," by Wayne Harding. Many of you probably have heard of Wayne. He was a WWII test pilot. His book is a fiction, based on his real adventures back in the day.

Just finished West With The Night by Beryl Markham. This was written about 1943 and republished in 1983. It is a memoir of her youth & flying experiences in British East Africa (Kenya) in the teens, 20's and 30's. I found it to be a revealing snapshot of flying and the attitudes of people at the time. Apparently, Beryl was the first person to fly the Atlantic east to west. She launched from England and crash landed on Cape Breton Island.

Been more places than I've flown. Hope to fly to them all one day.
