TORONTO - Cargojet Income Fund (the "Fund") (TSX: CJT.UN) announced today the appointment of Mr. John Kim as Chief Financial Officer of the Fund effective April 1, 2010. John will replace Mr. Dan Mills. Mr. Mills is retiring to spend more time with his family and pursue other personal interests. Mr. Mills is one of the founding principals of Cargojet and recently was the Executive Vice President Corporate Governance and the held the CFO position from Cargojet's inception.

Air Canada resumes flights to Santiago, Chile |

Air Canada is resuming scheduled service to Santiago, Chile, following the re-opening of Arturo Merino Benitez International Airport (SCL) to commercial operations. Air Canada's five times weekly service to Santiago, via Buenos Aires, Argentina, resumes Thursday March 4, 2010. Service to Santiago, Chile was suspended February 27, 2010 following the closure of the airport to commercial flights as a result of the earthquake in the region.

Mr Smit, the pilot tragically killed in yesterday’s crash near Courtenay may not have had his aircraft correctly registered.
Mr Smit who constructed the plane himself from wood and fabric almost 8 months ago, may have registered the plane as an ultra-light instead of amateur built plane. |

The report of the Transportation Safety Board of Canada which was released on the 3rd March 2010, confirms that the fatal crash of a float plane in 2008 was triggered by a stall in midair.
The crash on the 3rd August 2008, involving a Pacific Airlines Grumman G-21A Goose, near Alice Lake, was carrying employees of Seaspan International, the pilot and 4 passengers were confirmed dead at the scene, while 2 survivors were left injured.

Air Canada reports February traffic |

For the month of February, Air Canada reported a system load factor of 78.4 per cent on a consolidated basis with Jazz (from which Air Canada purchases regional capacity), versus 79.6 per cent in February 2009, a decrease of 1.2 percentage points. System traffic increased 5.5 per cent on a capacity increase of 7.1 per cent system wide.

19 wing Comox has confirmed this afternoon that at around 09.00hrs this morning an ultra-light plane crashed into a wooded region known as the forbidden plateau, close to Courtenay, approximately 200kms north of Victoria.
Search and rescue teams including a Cormorant helicopter from 19 Wing Comox were involved in the search. |

Bombardier Aerospace today announced that it will open a new Regional Support Office (RSO), in Mumbai, India – further strengthening its support for customers in this country. This will be the company’s fifth new support office to open in the past three years worldwide and is expected to begin operation in the second quarter of fiscal year 2010/11.
