Bearskin Airlines is pleased to advise that we have activated Interline E-ticketing with Air Canada for tickets issued by Air Canada or Bearskin Airlines and for Interline E-tickets involving Bearskin-Air Canada that are issued by various Travel Agency Reservation Systems.

Only Bearskin Airlines currently offers IET with Air Canada / Jazz between the cities we serve in Northwestern Ontario or Northern Manitoba and the cities served by Air Canada and their partners globally.

Interline Electronic Ticketing provides for the issuance of electronic airline tickets for travel on Bearskin Airlines and Air Canada within the same ticketed itinerary. (i.e. Flin Flon-Winnipeg-Vancouver or Red Lake-Winnipeg-Calgary or Kenora-Thunder Bay-Toronto ).

IET eliminates the need to carry paper airline tickets or issue two separate E-Tickets when connecting between two airlines. This offers improved security by eliminating the potential for lost paper tickets. Communication between airlines regarding electronic ticket status also makes it easier for passengers to change travel plans while en route, especially for last minute change options and faster airport check-in.

In addition, when connections are jeopardized due to any reason, IET’s permit interline airlines involved in any part of the itinerary to easily reprotect passengers on each other’s flights without penalty.

For those who occasionally or routinely fly between cities served by Bearskin Airlines and another city served by Air Canada this is the ultimate in convenience! We expect to see the highest use of IET's between Northwestern Ontario-Toronto via Thunder Bay or Winnipeg and between Northern Manitoba and Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver via Winnipeg.
