MONTREAL - ExelTech Aerospace Inc. (TSX Venture: XLT), Canada's largest publicly-listed aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul organization, has recently delivered six Bombardier CRJ Regional Jets to Atlantic Southeast Airlines (ASA) after completing airframe, interior and avionics upgrades. ASA is leasing these aircraft from a major international leasing company. The leasing company contracted ExelTech Aerospace to perform heavy maintenance checks, including major structural inspections, concurrently on these aircraft. Maintenance work on these aircraft was performed in ExelTech Aerospace's "Hangar Seven Regional Jet Maintenance Facility" at Montreal's Pierre Elliot Trudeau International Airport. Total contract value is expected to be greater than $1 million Canadian. ExelTech Aerospace's relationship with ASA began in 2004 when the airline selected the Company as its sole source supplier for heavy maintenance on its fleet of ATR 72 regional turboprop aircraft. "We are extremely pleased with ExelTech Aerospace's work," stated Arlyn Moulder, Director, Logistics and Procurement for ASA. "ExelTech Aerospace has provided us with excellent support and high quality service and I am pleased that our working relationship is expanding to include work on the CRJ aircraft." "Atlantic Southeast Airlines is our first US-based CRJ heavy maintenance customer," commented Derek Nice, President and CEO of ExelTech Aerospace. "We are delighted to expand our relationship with ASA and to support their aspiration to be the most trusted and respected regional airline flying." ExelTech Aerospace began providing on-call airport maintenance for CRJ operators in 2003 and added the capability to perform major structural maintenance in 2005. Today the Company's CRJ customers include eight Canadian and US airlines, leasing companies and service providers.
