TORONTO - Skyservice Airlines, Canada's premier charter
airline, begin today its summer season of flights to Italy. "On behalf of our
tour operator, Sunquest Vacations/Alba Tours, this is the eighth year in which
we have operated our Italy program," says Rob Giguere, President & COO.
Skyservice flight 700 is scheduled for an evening departure from Toronto to Fiumicino International Airport in Rome, on one of their Boeing 767-300 aircraft. This is one of two B-767s just added to its fleet of 27 aircraft including Airbus A-319s, A-320s and Boeing B-757s. The B-767 are twin-aisle aircraft, making it possible for Skyservice passengers to be only one seat away from any one aisle regardless of where they are sitting. Direct flights are also scheduled for Venice, Pescara, Lamezia and Trieste from May through to October. "While these flights are of great interest to many Canadians, there is a special interest from those individuals with family roots in Italy. We're proud to work with the Italian community and to be able to offer these services for our tour operator," notes Giguere.
Skyservice Airlines is Canada's premier charter airline and carries over
one-million passengers annually from 15 cities in Canada to 68 international
destinations. Skyservice currently operates its fleet to popular vacation
destinations in Canada, the United States, the Caribbean, Mexico and Europe. A
