Transport Canada investigators are once again on the scene of a deadly plane crash yesterday. The pilot was the only person in the two-seat plane at the time of the crash.
Wednesday morning, a Courtland area pilot took off in his single-engine Cessna 150. When he had not returned home at 12:30, the family reported him missing to the OPP.
The wreckage was spotted, from the air by a Hercules aircraft, in a seven-foot-high corn field. Search and rescue paramedics parachuted into the corn field.
Constable Mark Foster said police are looking to speak to anyone who saw the plane after it took off and before it was reported missing about noon.
