ExelTech Aerospace Inc. ("ExelTech" or the "Company") (TSX-V: XLT), a leading aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) provider with operations in Montreal and Quebec City, announced today the appointment of David B. Diggle as Vice President, Marketing and Sales.
"We are pleased to welcome David in our team. With his 35 years in the airlines and aerospace industry, David will play a key role in leading ExelTech growth strategy in the Regional MRO industry," said Sylvain Duval, President and Chief Executive Officer of ExelTech.
David B. Diggle's responsibilities will include developing and implementing a marketing strategy that supports the Company's objectives and growth plan; managing the ExelTech brand; selling heavy, line and field maintenance services; negotiating sales contracts; developing and implementing advertising programs and managing participation in industry organizations, trade shows and other market-related events.
Prior to this appointment, Mr. Diggle was Consultant in Market Strategy and Business Development to the CAVOK Group based in Dallas, Texas, where he was working directly with the President and Chief Operating Officer, advising on the establishment and execution of business strategies applicable to MRO within the aerospace industry. Mr. Diggle has also held several positions at Air Canada Technical Services including VP Marketing, Sales & Services and VP Component Maintenance.
Mr. Diggle holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of New Brunswick. He is fluent in English and in French.
