On Sunday, November 8, special programming includes presentations about Second World War issues and communication equipment with Canadian Veterans.
Young and young at heart will also enjoy special guided visits, including the Museum’s newly improved “Discovery Cart”, where visitors will learn about famous aviators through uniforms and various personal items from the past. Admission is free for Veterans, Canadian Forces members and their immediate family, as well as air, army and navy cadets in uniform.
At 2 p.m., the Centralaires Concert Band kicks off a sixth season of amazing performances with a concert entitled “In Remembrance”. This 60-minute concert will take place nestled among the aircraft of the collection and will feature popular military and parade music.
On Wednesday, November 11, the Museum offers special guided visits including an instructive visit of the RCAF Hall of Tribute, a space created for individuals to pay tribute to the many men and women past, present, and future who have dedicated their lives to serve their country. The “Discovery Cart” guided visit is being offered. Admission is free for Veterans, Canadian Forces members and their immediate family, as well as air, army and navy cadets in uniform.
