Passengers travelling on a recent flight from Toronto Pearson International Airport to Orlando Florida became uneasy when it was believed 2 passengers on the flight were watching footage of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on an i-pod.
Air Canada staff who approached the father and son believed to be watching the footage, felt that it was in the best interests of the passengers aboard to have these two passengers removed in order that everyone could enjoy the flight in comfort.
Peel Regional Police Const. Samantha Nulle said officers assisted the airline with the complaint, meeting the two passengers at the gate when they were taken off the plane.
No criminal offence had been found to have taken place and the father and son were allowed to continue their journey on the next available flight.
