Job Description
Discovery Air is in search of a student to offer IT Helpdesk support with strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills to become an integral part of our Information Technology team. This individual will be responsible for providing end-user support in the most efficient and courteous manner.
Responsibilities include: Provide first level technical support for all incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner Analyze and diagnose problems to quickly arrive at workable solutions Research questions using a variety of manuals and resources Build and deploy laptops, desktops and other related devices Maintain work related documentation and inventory Support end-user devices and peripherals locally and remotely Application software and hardware support, hardware troubleshooting Support end-users on telephone and conferencing system
Job Qualifications
Excellent communication skills, friendly courteous and organized
Self- sufficient, able to work independently
Strong foundation in Windows 7 and Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of Lotus Notes within an end-user support environment would be a definite asset
Driven and self-motivated
