As we watch the suitcases passing by us on the airport carousel, its interesting to note the manner in which some people make their luggage more identifiable.
A piece of ribbon, a pretty sticker, coloured tape and even individual luggage tags, one company took this idea a little further and had quite an unexpected reaction. |

Thursday, July 29 was an important day for Toronto Pearson and its neighbours. Cargo carrier FedEx, one the largest carriers serving Toronto Pearson, brought in the first of many new quieter Boeing 757 aircraft to their facility at the north end of the airport. This historic flight was greeted with a water cannon salute from the airport firefighters.

The Alberta Aviation Museum in Edmonton is pleased to advise that the
Vintage Wings of
Canada "Gray Ghost" Corsair is going to be on display through Tuesday August
3rd.
The bad news...
The Corsair visit is being extended while the maintenance crew waits for a
couple of small parts to complete the aircraft's 60hr maintenance check.

Co-pilots Survive crash of Bell 214 chopper |

A helicopter crashed in British Columbia Thursday while fighting a wildfire near Lillooet, north of Vancouver.
The 61-year-old pilot was taken to hospital with a concussion and pain in his legs, while the 27-year-old co-pilot was not injured and released from hospital. No names have been released.
