Boeing [NYSE: BA] on Nov. 2 delivered the fifth production P-8A Poseidon aircraft to the U.S. Navy. The P-8A is one of 24 low-rate initial production (LRIP) maritime patrol aircraft that Boeing is building for the Navy as part of contracts awarded in 2011 and 2012.

Boeing Delivers the 7,370th 737

Boeing (NYSE: BA) today delivered the 7,370th 737 to come off the production line to Indonesia-based Lion Air. The airplane is Lion Air's 75th Next-Generation 737. The Boeing 737 is the best-selling commercial jetliner of all time with total orders exceeding 10,100 airplanes, including orders for the new 737 MAX.

Boeing (NYSE: BA) and Kuwait airplane leasing company ALAFCO finalized an order for 20 Boeing 737 MAX 8s valued at $2.0 billion at current list price.  The order was first announced as a commitment at the Farnborough Airshow in July.

On Friday Boeing's (NYSE: BA) popular passenger-inspired 737 Boeing Sky Interior marked its 500th delivery and its second anniversary in service.

 Boeing [NYSE: BA] delivered the sixth Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) C-17 Globemaster III today at the company's final assembly facility in Long Beach. The airlifter will be assigned to No. 36 Squadron at RAAF Base Amberley near Brisbane, where it will help meet increased demand for airlift to support military, humanitarian and peacekeeping operations.

Boeing [NYSE: BA] on Oct. 24 delivered the fourth and final 737 Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) aircraft to the Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF), demonstrating the continuing success of the company's partnerships with local industry.

The U.S. Marine Corps has awarded a $74 million contract to the Bell Boeing V-22 Program, a strategic alliance between Boeing [NYSE: BA] and Bell Helicopter - Textron [NYSE: TXT], for seven Osprey ground-based trainers, which will reduce fuel usage and aircraft wear-and-tear, maximizing lifecycle cost savings.
