A Cessna Citation CJ1 Full Flight Simulator (FFS X™) and two full flight trainers (FFT™) from Mechtronix are to be delivered to The Civil Aviation Flight University of China (CAFUC), cementing a 10-year relationship between CAFUC and the Canadian-based flight simulator manufacturer.

CAE today announced that its CAE-built Gulfstream G450/G550 full-flight simulator (FFS) in Shanghai, China, has received Level D certification, the highest-fidelity certification, by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).

 CAE today announced that it has sold four Level D full-flight simulators (FFS),two each to customers in China and Russia. The sales include the first two FFSs, associated training devices and the CAE Augmented Engineering Environment (AEE) for the new C919 aircraft being developed by Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. (COMAC).

Bombardier Aerospace announced today that an undisclosed customer in China has signed a purchase agreement for seven CRJ700 NextGen aircraft. Based on the aircraft’s list price, the contract including ancillary services is valued at approximately $330 million US.

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. has announced that its aircraft service center in Beijing — Gulfstream Beijing — is officially open for business after recently being approved as a Part 145 maintenance facility by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC). The certification gives facility technicians the authorization to work on aircraft registered in China.
