Bombardier Inc. today announced that it has successfully priced its offering of US$2billion aggregate principal amount of new Senior Notes.

Boeing [NYSE: BA] named Troy Lahr vice president, Investor Relations. Lahr will take over from Stephanie Pope, who will assume the role of vice president, Financial Planning & Analysis. Both will report to Greg Smith, Boeing’s chief financial officer. The changes are effective Feb. 1st.

Virgin Atlantic Airways has appointed Craig Kreeger as its new Chief Executive. He will assume the role on 1st February 2013. He joins from American Airlines (AA), where he has held a 27-year career spanning commercial, financial and strategic roles in the US and around the globe. Kreeger, 53, succeeds current CEO, Steve Ridgway, who is retiring from the airline.

Southwest Airlines Co. (NYSE: LUV) has reported December 2012 consolidated traffic results for Southwest Airlines and AirTran.  AirTran became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Southwest Airlines Co. ("the Company") on May 2, 2011.

Discovery Air Inc. ("Discovery Air") announced today that Gilbert S. Bennett has resigned from Discovery Air's Board of Directors (the "Board").  Mr. Bennett first joined the Board on July 24, 2008 and served as Chair of the Board from August 7, 2008 until December 13, 2012.

American Airlines thanks Craig S. Kreeger, for his more than 25 years of service to the company while announcing that Jonathan D. Snook, American's Vice President – Operations Planning and Performance, will assume Kreeger's role as Senior Vice President – Customer Service, managing all aspects of the customer experience – from reservations and airport operations to inflight service and baggage handling.
