Gulfstream Aerospace Corp.’s new ultra-large-cabin, ultra-long-range G650 recently set another city-pair speed record, this time between Melbourne and Abu Dhabi. The record is the flagship aircraft’s sixth potential record this year.
Gulfstream Aerospace Corp.’s two newest aircraft arrived in Australia Monday to participate in the company’s static display at Avalon 2013, an air show and defense exhibition in Geelong, Victoria. It’s the first time both the super mid-sized Gulfstream G280 and the ultra-large-cabin, ultra-long-range G650 have been in Australia.

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp.’s new flagship aircraft, the ultra-large-cabin, ultra-long-range G650, recently established four city-pair speed records in five days, connecting cities in the U.S., Middle East and Russia.
Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. celebrated a milestone for the fleet leaders of its mid-sized G150 aircraft Wednesday. The two G150s, which are owned and operated by a U.S.-based multinational energy company, recently combined to surpass 10,000 flight hours. This achievement was accomplished without incident and took only five years.
Gulfstream Aerospace Corp.’s new best-in-class G280 aircraft recently set 15 new city-pair speed records as part of the company’s reliability demonstration program. Now heading the respective sales teams for principally the East and West coasts of the United States are Brian Schank and Darwin Stout. Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. today announced it plans to increase employment at its Appleton, Wis., facility by approximately 100 positions in the next year to support growing volume in completions work for Gulfstream large-cabin aircraft, including the recently certified G650. The site currently has approximately 725 employees, including nearly 425 technicians.
