Airport Turns Up the Heat with Non-Stop Winter Sun Getaways for 2012/2013 Season Hamilton International Airport

On Sunday October 28, 2012 John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport launched its 2012 Winter Service with non‑stop flights to a number of desirable sun destinations.

“We are pleased to continue offering non-stop service to some of the most popular sun destinations for families, couples and groups alike,” said Frank Scremin, President & CEO, John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport. “By working with our valued airline partners, we look forward to providing exceptional service for passengers seeking an escape this winter.”

WestJet kicked offHamilton International’s winter program with weekly service to Orlando, Cancun and Punta Cana this past weekend. WestJet’s winter flights are effective October 28, 2012 to April 27, 2013; additional frequency to Orlando will be introduced mid‑February 2013.

Service to Cancun and Punta Cana will also be provided through Transat Holidays and Nolitours from December 23, 2012 through to the end of April, 2013.

Flights to Cuban destinations are also back in full swing this winter with weekly service to Varadero through Transat Holidays, Nolitours and HolaSun taking place from December 23, 2012 to the end of April, 2013. Hamilton International will also welcome flights to Cayo Santa Maria, Cuba through Transat Holidays, Nolitours and HolaSun from February 16 to April 6, 2013.

For those seeking a true taste of winter, travellers can continue to take advantage of daily domestic flights to Calgary with WestJet, as well to Kapuskasing, Ontario with Bearskin Airlines every Thursday.

Flights can be booked online directly with the airline or through your local travel representative. Please confirm flight dates and times with airline prior to departure.
