STARFLYER INAUGURATES THEIR BRAND NEW FLIGHT TRAINING CENTER EQUIPPED WITH THE MECHTRONIX A320 FFS X™ Mechtronix

Japanese “low-cost, high-quality” carrier Starflyer inaugurated their new flight training center located in Kitakyushu Airport in south western Japan on September 21st.

The new purpose-built facilities house the Mechtronix A320 FFS X™, which was qualified to Level D by the Japanese JCAB this October. The training centre also provides facilities for cabin crew and maintenance training for Starflyer.

Mechtronix CEO Mr. Fernando Petruzziello and Vice-president of Business Operations Mr. George Karam were both present for the unveiling ceremony and proud to be part of this important inauguration.

The introduction of the Train@Home™ solution in Kitakyushu was made possible by the joint efforts of Starflyer and Mechtronix, and with the support of Japanese representative JALUX. Starflyer today benefits from the enhanced operational efficiency made possible with this training model: improved availability and quality of training operations, increased crew yields and saving costs from keeping their pilots at their home-base for training.

By having its own purpose-built training center, Starflyer maintains the highest quality and efficiency of its operations and continues to service its customers on daily flights between the airports of Kitakyushu, Tokyo Haneda, Osaka Kansai, Fukuoka and most recently its first international route to Bussan in South Korea.

We extend our most sincere congratulations to the Starflyer team.
