A helicopter en route from Grande Prairie to Grande Cache crashed on Friday evening, sending a 47 year old man to the hospital. The 33 year old passenger was uninjured. The men spent 16 hours in sub-zero temperatures before being rescued.

Two helicopter pilots are reported to be in good condition following a crash near the Labrador-Quebec border. The chopper had been headed to a fishing camp in the area Friday to pick up people. The search was launched yesterday after someone at the called their spouse to say the helicopter had failed to arrive. The pair was rescued by a military rescue chopper and taken to a Schefferville, Quebec hospital to have their injuries treated.
