VANCOUVER - CHC Helicopter Corporation ("CHC") announced today the purchase of Heli-Dyne Systems, Inc., a helicopter completion and maintenance centre based in Hurst, Texas, from FSS Air Holdings Inc. Heli-Dyne becomes part of CHC's Heli-One group, effective today.

VANCOUVER - Heli-One, an operating subsidiary of CHC Helicopter Corporation announced today that it has commenced work on a new contract to install autohover systems in six Sikorsky S61A (Nuri) helicopters owned and operated by the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF). Heli-One was awarded the contract by Airod Sdn Bhd, Malaysia's premier aircraft maintenance center. The contract is anticipated to generate revenues to Heli-One of approximately CDN $13.3 million over three years.

The province will be doing something to remember Craig Dobbin's legacy, but the decision has not yet been finalized. Helicopters from the company he built flew over the Basilica in St. John's yesterday, as people gathered to say a final farewell to Craig Dobbin. Family members, associates and friends remembered their times with the business icon. David Dobbin says Craig was a wonderful father.

Mr. Dobbin passed away in Beachy Cove, Newfoundland and Labrador, surrounded by members of his family. Mr. Dobbin battled his illness with the same courage, strength and dignity that characterized his career as one of the greatest businessmen in the global aviation industry.
