TORONTO - Skyservice Airlines, Canada's premier charter airline, is pleased to announce that it is offering direct flights to Belgrade Serbia and Zagreb, Croatia which commenced June 20th and 21st, respectively. "This is the second year we have offered these programs. Skyservice was the first North American airline to offer direct service to the former Yugoslavia in ten years. CALGARY - WestJet (TSX:WJA) announced today that it will integrate a temporary fuel surcharge into the base price of its domestic fares in response to the dramatic increase in the cost of fuel. During the first five months of 2005, the price of a barrel of crude had increased approximately 38% over the first five months of 2004.
A tourism booster is accusing Air Canada of "double dipping" by slapping on a fuel tax surcharge. St.John's Councillor Dennis O'Keefe says the airline already increased its fares a few years ago to cover rising fuel costs.

CALGARY - WestJet (TSX:WJA) today announced its Board of Directors has approved the purchase of two additional Boeing Next-Generation 737-600 aircraft by converting two purchase options with Boeing into firm deliveries. The 737-600 aircraft are scheduled to be delivered in August 2006.

MONTREAL - Air Canada said today that it had reached a tentative agreement with the Air Canada Pilots Association (ACPA) on costs and other related issues relating to the introduction of the new Boeing wide- body aircraft in the fleet. The agreement with ACPA is subject to ratification by the union membership.
ACE Aviation Holdings Inc., owner of Canada's largest airline, expects to raise as much as C$287.5 million ($231.1 million) from the planned sale of a 15 percent stake in its Aeroplan customer-rewards program.
