Air China will increase its Beijing-Moscow service CA909/10 by two flights a week to daily starting March 31. The outbound flight departs from Beijing at 13:45 local time, while the return flight departs from Moscow at 19:45 local time. The total flight time is 11 hours and 30 minutes. The flights will be operated with the newly revamped B777-200.

Boeing [NYSE: BA] announced today that Air China has agreed to buy two Boeing 747-8 Intercontinentals, one 777-300ER (Extended Range) and 20 Next-Generation 737-800s. In addition, Air China Cargo, a subsidiary of Air China, has agreed to buy eight 777 Freighters. The airline plans to expand its capacity to meet growing demand in Asia-Pacific and China, the most dynamic market for commercial airplanes.

Virgin America, the California-based airline, and Air China Limited, the exclusive national flag carrier of China, announce today a new interline agreement which offers seamless travel on the networks of both carriers across their respective routes in North America and Asia.

Starting November 22, Air China will use long-range widebody B777-300ER on its Beijing-Frankfurt service.

At a ceremony held today in Seattle, US, Air China received a newly delivered B777-300ER which has a special livery reflecting is name - "Smiling China". It is also the 10th of the 19 B777-300ERs to be delivered to Air China. These aircraft will further cement Air China's foothold in North America and Europe and enhance the carrier's competitive edge in the international market.

The 100th A320 Family aircraft assembled at Airbus’ A320 Family Final Assembly Line China (FALC) was handed over today to Air China. This delivery from the Airbus Tianjin Delivery Centre comes some three years after the first aircraft was delivered on 22nd June, 2009.
