Embraer makes its debut in Bangladesh today with the official inauguration of two ERJ 145 jets purchased by NovoAir, a new scheduled operator.

Embraer has named Taikoo (Shandong) Aircraft Engineering Co., Ltd. (“STAECO”) as Embraer’s Authorized Service Center for airline market in China in a ceremony held today at the facilities of STAECO in the city of Ji’nan, China. STAECO will provide line and heavy maintenance for E-Jets family in accordance with China Civil Aviation Regulation Part 145 standards.

Embraer S.A. has received FINEP´s Innovation Award 2012, the most prestigious recognition by the leading Brazilian innovation agency. Embraer´s CEO Frederico Fleury Curado received the award in a ceremony with President Dilma Rousseff in Brasilia.

Fuji Dream Airlines (FDA), of Japan, has signed a contract for two EMBRAER 175 jets, in a ceremony held at the headquarters of the airlines’ parent company, Suzuyo Corp. in Shimizu, Japan.

Boeing [NYSE: BA] and Embraer S.A. (BM&F Bovespa: EMBR3, NYSE: ERJ) today announced that they will provide customers with a shared set of tools, called Runway Situation Awareness Tools, to reduce runway excursions. This further strengthens the collaboration between two of the world's largest aerospace companies.

Embraer Executive Jets’ ultra-large Lineage 1000 business aircraft received its Type Certificate from the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC), also known by its Russian acronym MAK. Certification paves the way for Russian customers to register and operate the type in Russia.

The EMBRAER 190 and the EMBRAER 195 jets have received the Type Certificates from the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC), also known by its Russian acronym MAK, paving the way for Russian airlines to acquire the 112 to 124-seat aircraft.

Embraer Executive Jets has enlarged the authorization scope of ExecuJet Middle East as an Embraer Authorized Service Center (EASC). The service center, located at Dubai International Airport, is now authorized for line maintenance on the ultra- large Lineage 1000 and for base maintenance on the Phenom 300 light jet.

Embraer Executive Jets’ first made-in-the-USA Phenom 300 was rolled out and made its first flight today. The aircraft joined the production line in September and today’s flight marks the anniversary of the maiden flight of the first Phenom 100 to be produced in the U.S.

Embraer Executive Jets has expanded its customer service and support solutions by launching the new Embraer Executive Care (EEC) Engine Add-On option, that will offer a nose-to-tail maintenance solution for Phenom jets, complementing the EEC and the Eagle ServiceTM Plan (ESP®) programs.
