Embraer is pleased to welcome TUI Travel PLC (“TUI”), one of the world’s leading leisure travel companies, to its E-Jets’ family of customers. The Group will lease two EMBRAER 190 jets under an agreement with BOC Aviation, a Singapore-based aircraft leasing company. The two E190s will be delivered in the first half of 2013 to Jetairfly, the Belgian TUI subsidiary.
Myanma Airways, the flag carrier of Myanmar, has acquired two EMBRAER 190s under a lease agreement with GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of GE. The aircraft are the first modern 100-seater jets to be introduced in the country. The E190s will be delivered by year end.
Embraer (NYSE: ERJ; BM&F-BOVESPA: EMBR3) has delivered the first EMBRAER 190 jet to Venezuelan Airline Conviasa, Consorcio Venezuelano de Industria Aeronáutica e Serviços Aéreos S.A. The companies signed a contract last July for the acquisition of six E190, including an option for an additional 14 units of the same aircraft model. The contract also includes a flight simulator and a logistics package to support operations for the next five years.

Embraer today celebrates the opening of its two new Portugal-based Centers of Excellence in the city of Évora, Embraer Metálicas and Embraer Compósitos. The two facilities will manufacture complex airframe structures and components in their specific areas of expertise: metallic materials and composites materials. Embraer Metálicas represents an investment of € 100 million Embraer Compósitos represents an investment of € 77 million.

Belarus-based Belavia has taken delivery the first of two EMBRAER 175 jets in a ceremony held at Embraer’s headquarters in São José dos Campos, Brazil. The aircraft, which is leased from Air Lease Corporation of Los Angeles, will operate on European routes from Minsk International airport, in Belarus. The second E175 is scheduled for delivery later this year.
