Boeing (NYSE: BA) and Aeromexico finalized an order for six 787-9 Dreamliners, with reconfirmation rights for four additional Dreamliners. The order by Mexico's largest airline, which was first announced as a commitment in July, is valued at more than $1.46 billion at published list prices.

Bombardier Aerospace announced today that it has received orders for a total of six Learjet 75 business jets from an undisclosed customer. The transaction is valued at approximately $81 million US based on the 2012 list price for typically equipped aircraft.

Pegasus Airlines, the second largest airline in Turkey, has signed for up to 100 A320neo Family aircraft (58 A320neo and 17 A321neo models), of which 75 are firm orders. Pegasus becomes a new Airbus customer and the first Turkish airline to order the A320neo.

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. has appointed Allan Stanton as regional vice president for International Sales in the Middle East.  Stanton, who is based in Dubai, reports to Trevor Esling, regional senior vice president, International Sales, for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

A slowdown in new orders earlier this year and the ongoing global economic uncertainty are pushing profit levels down in Canada's aerospace product manufacturing industry in 2012 and again in 2013, according to The Conference Board of Canada's Autumn edition of its Industrial Outlook.

Boeing [NYSE: BA] has delivered the Qatar Emiri Air Force's fourth C-17 Globemaster III. The delivery reflects Qatar's agreement with the U.S. government to acquire two additional C-17s, which brings the Qatar Emiri Air Force (QEAF) fleet of the world's most advanced airlifters to a total of four as the C-17 continues to attract orders worldwide. Qatar received its third airlifter earlier this year.
