Singapore Airlines and Porter Airlines have finalized an interline agreement that provides another travel option between Asia and Canada.

Singapore Airlines (SIA) has firmed up an order for 25 more widebody aircraft from Airbus, comprising five of the world’s most efficient, high capacity aircraft, the A380, and 20 A350-900s. The deal was completed in 2012 and follows an agreement in October 2012.

Singapore Airlines and SilkAir customers transiting in Singapore have more to look forward to with the enhancement of the recently introduced Changi Transit Programme.  For a limited period from now until 30 June 2013, eligible customers will receive $40 worth of Changi Dollar Vouchers (CDVs) per ticket – double the amount since the Changi Transit Programme began on 1 October 2012.

SIA Deepens Commitment To Australia

Singapore Airlines has signed agreements with six tourism organisations in Australia in line with the Airline’s ongoing efforts to promote tourism to the country. The agreements are for a period of between two and four years, with the total investment for the current financial year amounting to more than A$5 million.

Singapore Airlines and Virgin Australia today announced the expansion of their codeshare agreement to cover further destinations in Australia, Asia, Europe and the United Kingdom.

From 1 December 2012, Singapore Airlines customers will be able to fly to the Greek cities of Athens and Thessaloniki through a codeshare agreement with Star Alliance partner Aegean Airlines.
