JetBlue Airways (Nasdaq: JBLU), New York's Hometown AirlineTM, and Aer Lingus, Ireland's flag carrier, today announced a codeshare agreement that expands upon the partnership that has linked the two carriers' networks at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport and Boston's Logan International Airport since 2008.

flydubai launches new Juba route

flydubai, Dubai’s innovative airline, has announced operations to Juba, the capital city of the Republic of South Sudan. Commencing on 21 April 2013, flights will operate four times a week between DubaiTerminal 2 and Juba Airport.

Carl Allen has been named managing director of technical services for Horizon Air, sister airline of Alaska Airlines. Allen takes responsibility for the carrier's core engineering, technical service and fleet propulsion engineering, as well as its technical publications, maintenance and reliability programs. He is based at Horizon Air's Operations Center in Portland, Ore.
